Tremron Construction in Ontario, CA | Millwright Builders
We provide independent Tremron paver and retaining wall construction across Ontario, from driveway installs in the old tract-home grid to patio work on the warehouse-belt edges. What makes our Tremron work different here is simple: we know the soils. Ontario’s mix of former citrus-grove land and disturbed fill means base prep matters more than the paver itself. Call (866) 925-0334 to talk through your project, and we’ll tell you whether your ground needs over-excavation before we ever quote a square foot.
Why Ontario Residents Choose Us for Tremron Service
Our crews have laid, cut, and repaired Tremron hardscape across the Inland Valley for years, including Upland Tremron service and surrounding communities. We stock and source Tremron directly from the manufacturer’s Inland Empire distribution points, which means we’re not waiting on a freight order from out of state when a repair lands. But our real advantage in Ontario is that we work this ground every week. The 91762 and 91764 tract-home slabs sit thin over old compacted fill. The 91761 corridor near the 60 and I-15 has crews hitting citrus-grove irrigation lines on half the jobs we walk. Noel Castañeda, Owner at Millwright Builders, built his reputation on the same principle his training at Skyline College drilled into him: good structures don’t happen by accident. We over-excavate when the soil calls for it, and we don’t skip compaction because it’s hot and the crew wants to finish early.
We’re also an Tremron sales & service provider for the full product line, but we’re independent. We use OEM Tremron units for visible and structural repair because color and dimensional match matters on a paver field. We’re not manufacturer-affiliated, and we never claim to be. What we claim is that we specify the right product, explain the trade-off, and stand behind the install.

Common Tremron Construction Problems We Solve in Ontario
Hardscape failures here aren’t random. They follow patterns, and most of them trace back to what’s under the paver, not above it.
- Efflorescence and salt bloom on pavers and wall blocks. Ontario’s hard inland water, combined with aggressive irrigation on lots that used to be citrus groves, pushes mineral salts up through Tremron units. We see a chalky white haze on Old Town and Plaza series pavers within the first year when water management wasn’t designed for hard-water mineral load. The fix is correcting drainage and sealing, not just scrubbing the surface.
- Joint sand washout and paver shifting. Santa Ana wind events do two things here: they drive fine dust into every joint, and they dry out polymeric sand faster than the label assumes. In the 91761 warehouse belt, seasonal shrink-swell in disturbed fill amplifies the movement. We re-sweep joints with spec-grade polymeric sand and, where movement recurred, we re-compact the base before locking the field down.
- Edge spalling and chipping on Old Town and Mega Oldenburg pavers. When base compaction is skipped during hot-season pours, the edge restraint is doing structural work it was never meant to do. Ontario’s summer heat accelerates concrete and sand curing, and crews that don’t account for that end up with brittle, shifting edges. We see chipped tumbled edges on driveways where the original installer treated the edge like a trim detail.
- Retaining wall face-shearing and settling. Tremron Belair and Mini-Belair wall systems fail in predictable ways around here: the face shears off when the backfill wasn’t compacted in lifts, or the whole wall settles when an old citrus irrigation line rotted out and left a void underneath. We dig out, find what’s under the failure, and rebuild the wall properly.
- Driveway base collapse over old ag infrastructure. This is the one we see constantly in the 91761 corridor: a paver driveway that looked great for eighteen months suddenly has a wave through the middle. The cause is almost always a collapsed citrus irrigation line or an uncompacted trench from someone who ran utilities through former orchard land and didn’t think the paver crew would care.
Tremron Service in Ontario: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
Here’s what a generic Tremron page won’t tell you: Ontario’s topography and land-use history are the single biggest variable in whether your paver installation survives five years or fifteen. The 91761 warehouse belt around the 60 and I-15 corridors sits on former agricultural land. Citrus groves. Those groves had irrigation networks: shallow lines, clay tiles in some older sections, valves buried under berms that nobody mapped. When we prepare a base in that part of Ontario, we over-excavate at least twice what we would for a comparable job in the 91762 tract-home grid off E. Holt Blvd. We remove what’s under the surface, re-compact in lifts with crushed base, and only then lay the Tremron units. On a paver driveway job off E. Holt Blvd in the 91762 grid, we pulled up failed Old Town pavers where the base had settled over an old citrus irrigation line. We dug out the line, re-compacted with crushed base, reset the OEM Old Town pavers, and locked them with polymeric sand so the drive handled the next Santa Ana wind season without a single shifted joint. If we’d just swapped the pavers, the same wave would have come back in a season.
This is also why we recommend a full base assessment as part of every estimate in Ontario, not just a top-down look at the existing surface. Your ground tells us more than your pavers ever will. Build it right the first time, the Peninsula weather will find out if you didn’t. That’s true here too, just with different weather and older irrigation lines.
Tremron Models & Products We Service in Ontario
We lay, cut, and repair the full Tremron residential line most common in Ontario yards and driveways:
- Tremron Old Town pavers – tumbled, brick-style units with the weathered texture that fits Ontario’s postwar ranch-house aesthetic.
- Tremron Mega Oldenburg 60mm pavers – large-format units beefy enough for the heavy pickup and delivery traffic along the warehouse-belt corridors.
- Tremron Plaza series – St. Augustine, Plaza I, and Plaza II for larger patios and dedicated entertaining pads.
- Tremron retaining wall systems – Belair and Mini-Belair for grade changes on sloped Ontario lots.
For any visible or structural repair, we use OEM Tremron pavers, caps, and wall blocks. Color and dimensional match matters when you’re patching a field, and aftermarket units from a different mold won’t line up. Joint sand and base aggregate we source to spec, not brand name. We repair local damage and replace only what’s failed. We don’t push a full tear-out when a targeted fix restores the surface.

What drives your number in Ontario is base prep more than paver line. A flat yard in 91764 on stable ground will land on the lower end. A 91761 lot where we hit citrus irrigation or disturbed fill during test digs lands higher because over-excavation isn’t optional. Every estimate includes a line-item breakdown, and we explain why each line exists before you sign anything. Call (866) 925-0334 for a free estimate. We’ll walk your yard and tell you what’s actually under it.

FAQs – Tremron Construction in Ontario
Yes. Ontario’s summer heat above the coastal basin accelerates concrete and sand curing, which means base compaction and polymeric sand application have to be timed and managed carefully. Joint sand that dries too fast won’t lock, and edge restraint poured in extreme heat can crack. We adjust our install schedule around the temperature and don’t rush a sand cure just to close out a job. Call (866) 925-0334 if your pavers are showing heat-related joint failure.
No. We’re an independent general contractor who sources and installs Tremron products directly. We use OEM Tremron pavers, caps, and wall blocks for repairs so your color and dimensions match, but we don’t claim manufacturer authorization or warranty endorsement. The Tremron product warranty stays with the manufacturer; our workmanship warranty covers the install.
Most residential paver repairs take one to three days, depending on whether we need to over-excavate and re-compact the base. A full paver driveway install in Ontario typically runs five to ten working days, factoring in base prep, curing windows, and any soil surprises we find along the way. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at the estimate, not a best-case number.
We service the residential lines most common across Ontario: Old Town, Mega Oldenburg 60mm, the Plaza series (St. Augustine, Plaza I, Plaza II), and the Belair and Mini-Belair retaining wall systems. If you have a different Tremron product, ask. We can source most of the current catalog through Inland Empire distribution.
Most targeted repairs run a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, depending on how much base prep is needed under the visible failure. A full paver driveway in Ontario lands between $7,000 and $18,000. The biggest variable is whether your ground is stable or whether we’re working on former citrus-grove fill that needs over-excavation first. Call (866) 925-0334 for an exact quote.
